Dr. Helen E. Norris, Director

After retiring from teaching for 29 years in Toronto Dr. Norris worked for her church, provided counselling and taught university courses. She received her Masters Degree from York University in Toronto and her Doctorate from California State Christian University. Dr Norris is ordained under the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies of Canada. Dr. Norris and her husband attend Streams of Victory Church, 27 Mobile Avenue Scarborough, Ontario. Today the Norris' family has grown from 4 boys, 4 adopted girls to 19 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. Her greatest desire is to see souls come to know Jesus as their personal Saviour. House of Hope (orphanage) and Deslandes Village School in Haiti are the focus of her mission ministry. Teaching, preaching and counselling are the areas anointed by God for success. Dr. Norris prays she will be able to help make a great impact for the Kingdom of God around the world. Her favourite scripture passage is Matthew 5:14-16. "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.(15)Nor do men light a lamp, and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand; and it gives light to all who are in the house. (16)Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven".

...came to formal faith in Christ through the agency of the Holy Spirit and The Fellowship of Christian Autoworkers in 1983. Subsequently gifted with the Ministry of Helps having served as Bus Ministry Director, Elder, in Tract distribution and evangelism, Church board member and President of an intercity ministry. Since 1996 I have been involved in the Healthcare sector, having trained as an Orthotics and Prosthetics technician and certified as a Pedorthics technician. I am currently employed with the Custom Footwear department at Sunnybrook Center for Independent Living in Toronto and also work as a lab instructor to the first year P&O tech. students at George Brown College. I have had a life long interest in drawing, painting and writing with a passion for effective communication of profound truths and concepts. Among my favorite scriptures are: IICor.3:18, IICor. 4:6, a proper interpretation of Col.1:15, and the assurance that every Christian can gain from Eph.1:17b.

DR. ROMA A. HEWITT, Treasurer

From early childhood, Roma has had a deep love for the Lord; this has driven her to continuously pursue a greater knowledge of Him and of His divine purpose for her life. Her developed knowledge of and intimacy with God allows her to provide Biblical counseling to individuals and families in a variety of settings. Her goal is to assist them in bringing all areas of their lives into accurate alignment with the principles of the Kingdom of God. She believes strongly in the pursuit of purpose and maximizing one’s potential in order to fulfill God’s destiny for one’s life.

She is the founder of Arise Shine Ministries, and the head of Congress Corporate Canada, a Kingdom business initiative of Congress- WBN. She is a member of the leadership team of Elijah Centre Embassy Toronto, an apostolic present truth kingdom community located in Scarborough, ON. Roma serves on the board of several organizations including Scarborough Christian Academy, Join the Family Christian Ministries, and Radiant Life Ministries.

Roma has a Doctorate in Divinity & Teaching and a Master’s degree in Theological Studies. She is a Certified Pastoral Counselor and the current Dean of Business at Canada Christian College & School of Theological Studies.

An inspiring woman both spiritually and educationally, Roma serves as a great role model to her three children, four grandchildren and all those connected with her.
